Elder Klayton Kelsey: April 14, 2014

Dear Klay, just about everyone and their dog got engaged or married this week, and i'm jealous. haha :) just kiddin our time will come. but my friend whitney that i told you about! the one that had a missionary, well they got engaged this week! wahhooo! i'm happy for them, so exciting :) Last night me and my friend hailey went to salt lake to go to city creek! Have you ever heard of tiffany's? :) hahaha it is a VERY expensive diamond store :) haha but anyways we went in there and hailey says, "oh she's getting engaged soon!" haha so they had me try on all of these rings.. i loved it :) But they are WAY too much money haha, so we went to KAY jewlers, you know their jingle "every kiss begins with K" ha when we walked in hailey said, "every kiss begins with klay" hahaha so i told that to the jewler guy and he said that he was going to change the jingle to that :) haha funny funny. But we had fun :) We also walked around temple square and went to the visitors center, which brought back some wonderful memories with you :) I can't wait to have you there with me again. Remember that video they had us watch about the family?? I remember... :)

This week was just a lot of stress. I had a bunch of tests, they went ok i guess ha i'm just so done with school so it is hard to stay focused long enough to study. Only one more week of classes, then finals week, then :) i'm done. finally :) I had an interview monday, and i was feeling really good about it, but they haven't called yet, so i am going to call them tomorrow. if i don't get that then i don't know what i'm going to do klay... i just want a few months where i don't have to make any decisions... or figure out where i'm going to live, or how i'm going to buy food :) ha but hey! i'm grateful for what i do have :) cause it's a lot more than most people. i'm especially grateful for that one missionary boy that i have ;) he's pretty cute. I liked your voice recording :) when you got all shy about singing the halfway there song :) it made me blush. :) I'm sorry that you haven't been having a whole lot of success... want to know a secret? I have been real lazy lately... reallly lazy, it's bad. So i was thinking.... i am being the epitomy of what those argentina people are being...lazy. So i said a prayer and said, "heavenly father, I ask that the people of argentina won't be lazy, that they will understand the importance of the gospel and going to church, i promise to not be lazy myself if you will help them with this" ha that's not exactly what i said, but you get it. So this week i tried real hard to not be lazy, and to not take naps! I took a couple naps... but it was better that before. I hope that i will continue getting better. And i know that if i do this then God will bless you with success, he will plant in the hearts of the argentines that same desire to not idle away their time anymore. sleep is good, but exaltation is better :) i miss you a lot. i love you a lot. have you got your birthday package yet? it should be there soon. have a great week klay, love you!!!

So i found out i got a bad score on my chemistry test and i didn't get that job.... but i love elder kelsey

don't you worry little lace. everything will go alright. i worry not about what job you have or scores. i just want you to try your best in all that you do. tell your friend to get the heck out of that picture in front of the temple !!! hahaha jus kiddin :) i will be praying for you . know that God has a plan for you. you didn't get that job because there is something else. i want you to focus on becoming a mother and wife and a good example. then focus on the money. but always be progressing. remember that we can be in the celestial kingdom and be condemned. the condemnation is the stopping of progression. when we are lazy, we are condemning ourselves because there is no progression. i want to be there with you to excite you about everything and that day will come, but for now, grow close to heavenly father. read the scriptures and mark the ones that will help you be a better mother, wife and saint. i am excited to open your gift :) i am glad i got to receive it. supposedly Argentina isn't permitting it any more. that's sad. but you just save up the money you would have spent for after alright? :) you just keep in your heart whats written in your hand :) you work hard to be a saint and purify yourself. remember that silver, if in the fire for too long gets ruined and if in for too little isn't pure. god has you in the fire and he will take you out in the right moment. trust him. and you will come out perfect. keep working diligently to progress. don't live by months or weeks, live by moments. and have successful moments all day long ;) i love you my little one. you just keep swimming :) take a nap if you really need to, but if you need to , do it in the hammock :) hehe i love you lou. i'm working hard but still i need to do better. love yer guts! i will send you two recording next week, i forgot my recorder in the pension. . . so that will be fun!!!! i'm excited for your package on my birthday!!!!
