Hey there :) this week was pretty good. It was fall break this weekend... i only got a day off but heyy that's okay. whit came to visit on thursday night, it was good to have her here :) it made me realize how much i have be desensitizing myself to bad stuff though... cause when it's just me i don't think about it much, but when it is in front of my sister i'm like, "woah stop." haha i need to start treating things as if whitney were here watching everything i do i guess. I have been getting better at cooking!! i made chicken alfredo the other night that was pretty good, and a little while ago i made some cagun chicken pasta stuff that was delicious :) hopefully i will be ready to cook for you when you get home :) I went home on Friday and on saturday we went on an atv ride! it was soo fun! we got all muddy and all sorts of stuff happened haha i haven't laughed so hard in a long time... it was a much needed family adventure :) your sister took our family pics today :) i think they will turn out pretty good, except the sun wasn't cooperating very well... oh well haha oh and guess who i might live with next year....Allison! hahahaha isn't that wierd?! yeah i think so... but it just might happen... we'll see i guess. The missionaries have still been coming, they try to come twice a week... but they want me to come when they teach Edgar, and when they teach my roomates... so i've just been getting a whole bunch of missionary lessons haha it's good, but i'm just super busy so it's hard. I will make time! haha if any one of them get baptized it will be well worth all that time. I found out that my other roomate, that isn't taking the lessons, is atheist today... what the? how can you see this world and not believe in a God? I'm confused....
have you had transfers again? it's about that time isn't it? HOLY COW. 6 months Klayton!!!!! ahhhhhh!!!!! i'm squealing of excitement :) no but really. haha i am so excited. I never thought the day would come. only have to do this 3 more times then we're set! ;) haha keep working hard though, have a lot of patience (i gave a lesson on patience to the laurels today :)) i love you, miss you tons and tons :)

haha thats all beautiful lou, live in the world but not of the world. my companion was atheist and now he is on a mission so dont give up on her. teach her to pray and pray with her. read the scriptures together and pray about it :) do it often and give her your testimony of its truthfulness. six months passed super fast and super slow at the same time! haha when i look back it went super fast but sometimes when its going it goes a little slow . .. allison? what the jew. .. this is gunna be a train wreck. . . hahaha what will be will be. .

Haha oh Klay... you crack me up :) what the Jew? Hahaha yeah we will see if that actually happens or not :) how was your week this week??

i would certainly hope that no :) haha this week was good. all of our baptisms and stuff are really giving us problems. but the good news is that if ana maria cruz stops smoking in two weeks she can be baptized on the third week and even though her dang husband still lives there, she can be baptized!! also her son if we get him married. he has two kids and a sixteen year old girlfriend. but we are working with them too. its all dependant in the atonement of the Savior. or i cant do a thing here. interesting scripture. use boldness but not overbearance and also see that ye bridle all your passions, that ye may be filled with love; see that ye refrain from idleness. alma 37 12. its interesting how it says that passions are not love. that he or she that bridles them will be full of love. thats what i want :) and what i want you to want. and two years of bridling should do it :) haha also it says that we cant be idle. if im idle or you are idle. . .ya fue. . . but i wanna love ya perfectly not with this passion crap ;) haha

it means like keep control of . . . keep in proportion. . .like bridling a horse :) haha

Mmm I see, I like that :) we will do good Klay, with the savior we will always win :) I hope that the baptisms work out for those you are teaching, I really do :) don't lose faith in them or the savior :) love you :)
Klay:
i know that many will work out. sadly the people have their right to choose. i would love to take that away from the world sometimes. but the purpose is really to prove to oneself that they are willing to be obedient and follow God. that is what we hope for.

What has been the best part of your mission so far?

Klay:
the best part of my mission so far is the things that i learn. and the abitities i gain to fight through a lot of things that hurt. to feel a little of the pain that the Savior felt. To undertand to what extent His sacrifice reached. my favorite part is learning to love those that struggle and lifting the feeble knees. but i really love thinking about all the ways i will apply these things to my life afterwards to make those around me feel the protection of the gospel and have a family edified upon the Savior. I have learned to love a people that i couldnt understand. their words nor their feelings. i know how to love more. thats my favorite part.

About our life? Do you believe that everything will still work out with us? I do :) but has anything changed for you?
Klay:
you should keep writing down all the good things that i have been missing like the movies and food and all that other stuff!!! keep writing in the jounal, warm days nap in hammock haha even thoughits probably freezing there. . . but keep working hard. also you should find all the scriptures have to do with families, study them and write how you could apply it to our future family!! ;)
i believe that everything will work out if i have Gods help :) if i am obedient and i help many. all that i can. you are amazing and i really need to work hard to deserve you. I doubt nothing. the lord says in d and c . you recieved it not because you doubted. i stand doubtless :) i worry not. i believe that we have the best chances of anyone cuz you are a champion :) i love you, hold tight to Christ and all will fall into its place :) love ya guts lou !!!
if we both hold tight to Christ, it all falls into place. if not, it doesnt.
