So I had a couple encounters with the missionaries this week haha one day on campus I was just sitting there eating a pb and j :) and then! the missionaries walked up to me and started talking to me! haha it made me happy cause they remind me of you :) . I told you about it in your letter.. but basically i just had a nice chat with them. then yesterday, me and chi and denaisha were at the community center for our apartment and some other missionaries were there and they talked to us for quite a bit. They were pretty nice, they got chi to agree to come to church and i was like, YES! they made my job so much easier! haha but denaisha didn't act very interested... :( so we'll keep working on her. But anyway, so this morning i was getting ready for church and i asked chi if she wanted to go with me and she said yeah, so i told her when we were going to leave... and then like 20 minutes later i walked out of my room and i was just talking to her and she asked if there was anything she needed to know before we went.... so i asked her if she had a dress or skirt she could wear, cause i didn't want her to feel out of place if she went in jeans you know? But she didn't... so i offered to let her wear one of mine.. but i think she just got a little overwhelmed so then she just said that she would prepare to go next week ha so i hope she can find a dress to wear so that she can go with me! She was asking me about our religion before i had to go, so i was trying to teach her... but it is really hard! ha cause she is chinese and she still doesn't understand everything... so i have to say it in a way that she will understand. it's kind of frustrating, i would really love it if the missionaries could come over and teach her, so i think i'm going to do that sometime this week maybe? it's difficult cause she hasn't ever done anything with any religion really so it's just really new to her. She is funny though, i think i say that every week now, but she really cracks me up haha on Saturday I looked at the clock and it was already one and I said, "holy cow, it's already one!? time is flying by today" and she said, "yeah, flying by! haha what does that mean?" ha so i explained it to her, and throughout the day she was having a hard time understanding things that i was saying, so then later, I asked her if she wanted to go to the community center with me and denaisha and she said, "oh yeah! I finally understand what you are saying!" hahaha oh boy... silly chi.

I hope you had a good week this week! Did you guys baptize salvador and alejandro? or are they next week? I am happy that you guys have been having progress in this area! You must be working real hard :) So I am confused, how many people do you live with? I thought you only lived with your companion, but didn't you say you lived with 3 other people or something? I love you! I have been thinking about you all the time! but that is nothing new :) hopefully i get to talk to you tomorrow! if I don't, it's cause i'm in class... but if i'm in class i will probably still email you back... :/ hehehe i'm a rebel what can i say? :)

hey rebel in your classes!!! text me back or i will send the tickle virus to your cell phone!! hehe this week was pretty good. its super hard. i had a oh my heck i miss Lou time this morning :) haha had to take deep breathes and all ;) haha i had a migraine this morning and it is flippin hot here. so it was a lot to handle. plus i am super stressed about this area. we are working hard but we have to do a thousand times better. we have a lot to do. the elders before didnt fill out the area book so we have to start from basically ground one. its tough but we are building the base of the building from the start. i am so happy that you are helping your friend. show her pictures :) pictures always help :) my comp is studying chinese? cool huh? he also has his own language. he is very intelligent. there are four of us.

i hope that all is going well. Always be looking for oportunidades to bring people to the gospel. that is where your testimony comes strongest. you are doing that already. you are such a champ lou. i dont know how to compete with that ;) haha i am glad that time is going by fast for you :) i really think that its going to start running really fast after like six months. i am learning so much Lou :) i know that there is no better way to prepare for life besides the mission. even though its super stressful and full of a whole ton of opposition :) but the work of God would cease to be the work of God and would be an obvious indication that it wasnt the church of Christ if everything was easy. This is the gospel of Christ Lou. If we live it in the ways of God, we are so stinking blessed that it aint even funny. Heck!! im living it and a very beautiful woman is waiting for me thousands of miles away :) there isnt a whole lot to top that ;) The Savior lives. if you want Him to come quicker. . . (i do) then do the work of the Lord and preach His word :) every ear has to hear. i love you a whole bunch. you are my hero :)

dear lou. dont you be sad that you werent able to talk to me. I was super happy to be able to write you. read my words and be happy :) know that i am writing you a letter right now on paper :) i wasnt able to do it for a couple weeks with my other area. we had a ton of stuff to do because we didnt have a stake president counsellors or anything. we did activities and it took all the extra time on p days. know that i wanted to write you letters. i got a lot of letters from you!!!! please dont stop writing me them :) i get so dang excited!!! today was beautiful because i was feeling super horrible. i had a famous Klay migraine. Remember those? yeah. but!!!! i got to open your letters today!!!! que HERMOSA ES USTED!!! but that helped me out a whole ton!!! i got our temple picture!!! that was a beautiful night :) thank you for all the reasons in the world to work hard for the Lord. He is coming :) i love you like i love the shade :) if you have the timeand the money you should send me an air conditioner :) love you!!!!keeep living beautifully :) work harder than they expect you to :)
