Elder Kelsey :) How are you this week? This week has been pretty TBH! ha seriously though. This week was awesome. I got a job!!!! wahoo! ha I applied last saturday, they called me on monday, interviewed wednesday, got the job on thursday, and started on saturday. :) So yeah haha I am happy :) I paid my tithing on tuesday and I believe that is a big reason why i got the job. so yeehaw boy! haha other good news... my friend Edgar got baptized!!!!! It was so exciting! :) I am super happy for him and I know that lots of blessings will be coming to him :) It feels good to know that I was there to introduce him to the missionaries and answer questions that he had about the gospel. I had to talk at his baptism, it was good, i was nervous, but it went well haha
I am kinda sad that I can't chat with you anymore :( but I guess it is a rule for a reason, so it is probably for the best right?? I guess ;) sigh.... at least I still get to write you emails and hear from you every week, and LETTERS!!! i got one this week!! and pictures and I was so so happy :) I was having a terrible day, and your letters just turned my whole day around :) so thank you klay. The only thing is, I am having trouble translating the parts of your letters that are in espanol. haha oh well i will figure em out somehow :)
I am so happy to hear that anna marie got baptized! that was quite the struggle. she sounds like one tough woman. Thank you for not giving up on her, for not giving up on her situation because it sounds like it was a very big trial. But that baptism will forever be a blessing to her. Thank you for trying your hardest :) Klay I want you to know that you are wonderful. Keep going sweetheart :) Keep working hard. If you really think i am a smart woman who loves you a lot, you will believe me when I say that I know you can do this :) whenever you get knocked down, get back up boy! Don't let things bring you down... let those things give you reason to come back stronger. If you always choose God's side you will always win :) Ask God for the things you need, for the things that you want. :) Read Moses 6:52... I read this at Edgar's baptism but I think it is a good reminder for us even though we were baptized 10 years ago. That is a promise that if we are baptized and receive the holy Ghost, we will be able to ask, and be given the things that we want. :) I ask for you all the time.
I want you to know that I am still wearing your clothes every day :) I still use our blankets and comfy pillow, I still write in the journal and count down the days :) I still look at our pictures and read my scriptures and pray and pray and pray :) Just thought that I would let you know that. I love you!!!! Have a good week klay. That is a request from lou :)
Attatched pics... me, edgar, and his roomates. Edgar and the elders. And a selfie of lou to make klay smile :)
Klay:
way to go lou lou!!!! you keep fighting for people!!! you are a champion!!! know that God doesnt want the missionaries to baptize but that the members baptize. and you are doing it!!! thank you so much for working so hard in school and always making time for the savior. to work in his vineyard and do the things that the savior would do. you should read in John 15 or 16 i cant remember perfectly but it talks about the savior in his vineyard and what we are as members. it is super interesting. examine it closely. learn what blessings come from doing the work of the Lord. He washes us :) thats a hint. i love you lou. keep working harder and harder.
hey!!! keep saving all of those pictures and voice recording and letters and stuff!!! when i actually have time to examine them after the mission it will be an utmost pleasure and joy :)
i like your boots :) keep baptizing people and bringing them to our Savior. Love ya like the shade.
